Hi there! Eric Wetlaufer at your service. I’m currently a law student at the University of Illinois. As a way of helping out others, I give basic advice on say how to deal with cops when arrested.

Part of my objective in starting this blog is to inform my family and friends about their rights and basic laws.  It has been said that studying law would equip students with an array of skills such as research, critical analysis, synthesis of complex ideas, presentation, and writing. I would like to believe that this blog is a proof of that statement.

While I’m still in law school, I try my best to share what I learn from my many classes. I’m looking forward to what the future has in store for me once I pass the bar.
